Binary Options
« on: April 28, 2013, 10:40:32 PM »
I have received numerous emails regarding trading forex binary options.  I, frankly, am tired of them, and have tried to trade binary options and it was similar to playing Las Vegas odds!   ???  Anyone else want to share their experience, if any?

I've not "traded" them, but I sure have experienced the emails...it seems the marketers have latched onto binary options in the same way the did EA's a few years ago...every week a new "latest and greatest"

Exactly....also, there are those marketers that have mastered the selling of an EA for Binary Options!

Yup...it never ends it seems.
Hopefully most newbies don't get caught more than twice before they catch on.

I tried it for a while. I kept telling my wife it was just like Vegas, but without all the lights! Just like Vegas though, I had some money set aside just to try it out and if I lost it, I lost it with no worries. Of course I mostly lost it!  I found it to be very tricky, like scalping during a one minute time frame. The charts they provided were of little use, probably on purpose, and there was limit as to what you could trade. There also seemed to be a bit of a difference between the currency rates they showed versus what my FX broker showed, but I'm not sure if that was because of their spread/rate.

I will admit though, it was rather fun in a gambling kind of way and the odds are a bit better than Vegas.

I'm not good in binary options, but if done with care can make money
RSI uses a calibrated 7 days, layers 90-5 and test of two minutes

I've started to look into binary's a tiny bit and opened a demo on Nadex. Anyone heard of them/use them?
I always thought you were locked into the bet (lets face it that's what it is :-) once you entered, but with Nadex you can bail anytime. Of course the spread is wide, but rather take a smaller loss than a full loss.

The longer the better is seems for me...although it's very early. I have read where the shorter stuff is account killers.

If ya got something that works...great!!!
I always thought once you were in a trade/bet, that was it, you were stuck...but if you can bail anytime, that's a huge advantage.
Thanks for the info, and let us know how it goes.
